The Fox and the Grapes

He saw a tantalizing bunch of purple grapes hanging high.

The grapes looked juicy, but they were quite high up.

The fox began his endeavor to reach the fruit.

He jumped with all his might, but the vine was inaccessible.

He tried again and again, but his jumps were fruitless.

Exhausted and defeated, he sat down for a moment.

He looked at the grapes with disdain and curled his lip.

'They are probably sour anyway,' he said, walking away.
